For those interested in prices, I paid about $205 USD for the paragliding... read more experience. But that is not inclusive of the one way ticket going from the bottom of First up to the top, which is roughly $20-30 depending if you have a discount. Pricey, but did I mention that this was one of the BEST experiences. OF. MY. LIFE!!!!

We met the pilots at the bottom of First and rode with them up to the top. We had good conversation and then we walked to the location where everyone lifted off from. Felt very safe from start to finish. The pilot briefed us one what to do and made sure any anxieties were calmed. Luckily, I was not anxious but EXCITED for this!!

We walked, then ran until our feet lifted off the ground and we were up in the air for about 15-20 minutes. Apparently, the longest someone has been up in the sky paragliding was nine hours. I couldn’t believe it at first, but when we got up there I realized how true it could be. The views of the Swiss Alps, the trees, the houses below—everything—is simply breathtaking.

Mark my words. I will go back. And I will do this again!!!

It was the best thing we did on our entire trip and our kids have talked about it over and over. The views from up above the Alps are simply amazing. The takeoff was so calm -- it was honestly easier than ziplining - you just walk/jog a few feet and then the wind gently takes you off the Alps! We paid the $40 or so for the memory card and they also downloaded the pics right to our iphones when we were done so that we could share them! The pilots were very professional and I simply cannot say enough about this experience! You won't regret it!!!

Uli shared a gondola to the top with me and after I asked him how many times he did this and he told me ‘this was his first time’ I told him he was my choice. Once in the air, I asked Uli if he could ‘do tricks’ and he did. Loop de loops and upside down spins were awesome!! Later I saw a Swiss magazine and there was Uli’s photo as a the premier pilot in Switzerland! I’d paraglide with him again in a heartbeat.
